The desert rain frog has to be the strangest frog that I have ever come across. The desert rain frog is a small, plump species with a short snout, bulging eyes, short limbs, webbed toes, and a very squeaky voice! Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrub-land and sandy shores, specifically in Namibia and South Africa.
